Rachael Leigh Cook is thriving! ET’s Deidre Behar talked towards the actress that is 40-year-old whom opened about life after breakup, the newest guy inside her life, along with her upcoming Netflix film, Love, Guaranteed.
Cook along with her ex-husband, Daniel Gillies, first announced their split in, before officially filing for divorce proceedings month that is last. While Cook admitted that choosing to split up was “really difficult,” she and her ex have discovered a real means making it work.
“It was difficult whenever Daniel and I also decided to split due to the massive implications that come with this in addition to upheaval, but seriously, we’re excellent,” she states. “we are buddies now. We speak about things because we’ve this new relationship. that people never discussed before”
“He’ll let me know about times which he continues on and funny items that may have happened and we also truly laugh about this,” she adds. “I do not understand. Divorce needs a brand new publicist. It isn’t that bad.”
The set share two kiddies — Charlotte, 6, and Theodore, 5 — and have now discovered a method to seamlessly that is co-parent.
“I do not realize that component any longer difficult than once we had been parenting-parenting,” Cook claims. “It really is pretty cool to help you to divide duties [50/50]. We kinda suggest it.”
